In August 2025, a batch of 18.7 tons of Pinghe pomelos from our company was successfully exported to New Zealand after passing the inspection and quarantine by the Zhangzhou Customs under the Xiamen Customs. This export not only represents a significant breakthrough in our company's overseas market expansion, but also marks the first time that fresh honey pomelos from China have been exported to New Zealand, injecting new vitality into the "going global" of Pinghe honey pomelos.

As a core enterprise deeply involved in the Pinghe honey pomelo industry, our company relies on the unique natural environment and mature ecological planting techniques of Pinghe County, focusing on the cultivation, processing and export of high-quality honey pomelos. Pinghe County is the largest production and export base of pomelos in China, with an annual export volume of about 200,000 tons. With years of industry experience, our company selects high-quality honey pomelos from prime production areas. These pomelos are characterized by thin skin, abundant juice, tender flesh and sweet taste. Among them, the early-ripening new variety "June White" matures 30 to 40 days earlier than ordinary honey pomelos, meeting the seasonal demands of the New Zealand market and laying a solid foundation for this export.
With the assistance of Xiamen Customs, we completed remote connections with the General Administration of Customs and the Ministry of Primary Industries of New Zealand, and actively supported the on-site inspection of our registered orchards and packaging plants by the New Zealand inspection team last year, fully promoting the implementation of Sino-New Zealand honey pomelo trade.
Zhou Xiaolan, the general manager of our company, stated that to meet the strict quarantine standards of New Zealand, the company has established a high-standard quality and safety management system and product traceability system, achieving full-process control from planting to packaging. At the same time, the company has proactively connected with New Zealand customers and signed intention orders. The export price of this batch is 50% higher than the average price in traditional markets, achieving a dual improvement in market expansion and product value.
The current honey pomelo export season has begun, and our company is fully committed to delivering the first order to New Zealand, striving to enable local consumers to taste high-quality Pinghe honey pomelos as soon as possible. This export is an important milestone in our company's overseas layout. In the future, we will take this opportunity to deepen our involvement in the honey pomelo industry, expand into high-end overseas markets, optimize product structure, innovate packaging, enhance brand influence, and help Pinghe honey pomelos reach broader overseas markets, demonstrating our corporate responsibility.
